Skin Tears are protective garments designed to help prevent skin tears, chafing, and friction-related injuries in patients with fragile, thin, or ageing skin. They are intended to protect the hand, forearm, and leg, particularly in people with reduced mobility, diabetes, cognitive impairment, or a tendency to bruise and develop skin tears.
They feature multilayer technology with 5 mm encapsulated gel positioned between breathable fabrics. This helps absorb pressure, cushion impact, and reduce friction, improving patient comfort and safety. They are also hand washable, reusable, unisex, and easy to put on, making them a practical solution for care homes, hospitals, and home care.
